Once all your mods have been restored, if you have a mod manager, I suggest making a local copy of all the mods you're using (even if it's 300-400+) to save you from this phenomenon occurring in the future. 1.The only thing I could do to solve it was to kill the .exe in taskmanager. I encountered this issue myself and found it was a conflict with the "Pick Up And Haul" mod. My particular conflict was wih that mod and the "Misc. Robots" mods. Try to load the game without any faction mod or mods that adds stuff on the map. Then load them one by one to see where the problems is. Good rebooting the game for the next 20 hours.First things first, go into Steam -> Steamapps -> Workshop and delete .acf file with the number 294100. This should be steam's mods for Rimworld, which will then be forced to reinstall. Keep in mind the force reinstall will not work if you are still in the game.
