Sfkn123 • • 1 yr. ago. This is normal - the limit is an estimate. The battery continues to calibrate as it charges, so it might've stopped at 80 briefly but after calibrations it found that the battery was actually at 83. Also, as the temps change, the battery calibration also changes.

It’s probably better for your battery to keep in plugged in, than to charge to 60% and drain to 40% or whatever. I usually do 70% to 80%.
