It at least needs to be a replacement for the sky iron hasta to be worth using. Critical wands used to be pretty nice back in the day but now until enemies start showing up with block, 1 critical rating is the same as 1000. I haven't played 50-100 in a while but I don't think even bosses have any block yet.
